For the purposes of these terms of service, "the service" shall refer to paste.social as well as the servers on the Internet used to provide access to paste.social. "We" shall refer to the authors, administrators, providers, and other personnel responsible for the creation of the software that provides the service, administering the service, or otherwise involved in the day to day operation of the service.

Your use of the service is subject to your consent to these terms. If you do not or cannot consent to these terms, you must cease any use of the service.

THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF AVAILABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION PROVIDED. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

1. paste.social collects as little data about its users as is feasible. Data collected by the service will never be sold or transferred to any third party.
2. In the normal course of viewing this website, your user agent (web browser) submits information (including your IP address) to paste.social. Some of this information will be stored in log files on our servers, and may be used to help use provide you with the service, and protect this website from abuse, attacks, and other unwanted traffic. We will not attempt to use this data to personally identify you. We may use this data for other purposes related to the operation of the service, including for analytics.
3. In an emergency situation, we may temporarily collect other information in order to defend the service against eminent or ongoing abuse or attacks. This data will only be used for the purpose of protecting the service and will always be deleted within 24 hours of collection.
4. You acknowledge that some links on this website will redirect you to content created by others. This content could be objectionable or illegal in your jurisdiction, and should not be taken to reflect the opinions of paste.social.
5. If you choose to submit data to this service in the form of URLs, you agree that we will cache certain portions of that submitted data indefinitely, including the URL itself and an image preview of the content behind it. You agree not to submit any data to this service that you wish to keep private.
6. For as long as paste.social remains the property of its present owners, paste.social will not display advertisements or embed JavaScript intended to track users.
7. Data being transferred to the servers operated by paste.social may pass through other servers that provide reverse proxies or other services to paste.social. In this case you may be subject to elements of their privacy policies. As of November 2022, the only such service utilized by paste.social is Cloudflare.
8. If the service is ever sold or transferred, these terms and conditions may change. In the event that the service is sold or transferred, a prominent notice will be presented on the home page of paste.social for at least seven days before such sale takes effect.
